I will occasionally post images of either “daily” work or longer term work. I aspire to work daily, but it is difficult to do right now.

2016

I am continuing the daily janes on a not-so-daily basis. I hope to regularly create a "daily" piece and will post them when I do so. Stay tuned!

2015

I am trying something new this year—sharing daily creative works on this blog. They might be small paintings, photographs of something that caught my eye, collages, mixed media.... Who knows? I'm just going to create them and post the images. Later, I might do something more with them.

This is a photo I took recently of a beautiful leaf. I zoomed in, increased saturation, and then converted it to a infrared black-and-white version. I added the layer of words by Iowa photographic artist Carol Macomber.
